Scott Glen Kemper

Evansville, Ind. - Scott Glen Kemper, 63, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2020 at his home.

Scott was born in Evansville, Indiana on August 9, 1956 to Charles L. and Wanda Ruth (Miller) Kemper. He graduated from Central High School in 1974 and earned his Associates Degree from Ivy Tech in the HVAC Program. As a teen he worked at Wesselman's Grocery Store and later began what would be a very fulfilling and rewarding 45 year career in the Heating and Air Conditioning business. He began his career at Budlock Refrigeration (a large heating and air conditioning-refrigeration distributor). Once Budlock was sold, he was employed by National Temperature Control Centers (NTCC) and finally with the G.A. Larson Company. Through the years, he started in the warehouse and moved into various jobs in sales or management. Scott enjoyed playing baseball and softball, yard work and being with his dogs, Mooke, Rudy and Jake. He loved his work and his work family but his greatest joy came from spending time with his son, siblings and extended family.

Scott is survived by his son, Jeremy Kemper of Evansville, IN; mother, Wanda Ruth (Miller) Kemper of Evansville, IN; sisters, Jennifer Ruth Harrison of Columbus, IN and Toby Ann Kollker (Tom) of Evansville, IN; brother, Jim Boyd (JoAnn) of Piedmont, SD; and many nieces and nephews.

Scott was preceded in death by his father, Charles L. Kemper in 2014.
