David Kemp

David Michael "Mike" Kemp, 61, of Evansville, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2016, at Deaconess VNA Hospice. He was born August 10, 1955, to the late Troy and Zelma (Norrington) Kemp.He was a graduate of Central High School and was a member of the Bible Center Cathedral where he sang in the choir. David was a machine operator for Ameriqual for many years. He was an avid outdoorsman, he loved spending time hunting and fishing. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family. David is survived by his wife of 18 years, Patricia (Elmer) Kemp, of Evansville; daughters, Kelly Morgan (Scott), of Owensville, Christy Kemp (Jennifer), of Lillington, N.C., and Amy Like (Jonathon), of Lehigh Acres, Fla.; grandchildren, Eli Kemp (Casandra Kalbarchick), Ema, Alex and Aiden Morgan, Christopher, Aubrey, Colton Kemp and three more grandchildren on the way; great-grandchild, Rowan Kemp; sister, Sherry Watson, of Evansville; brother-in-law, Hank Cook; nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, David was also preceded in death by his sisters, Christine Cook and Charmanye Greene; and his brother, Danny Kemp.
